The Allergy & Free From Show 2013

Allergy Show

Next weekend the other half and I are off down to London to  The Allergy & Free From Show  and now that it is so close I am getting rather excited! I can only imagine how many wonderful ‘free from’ products will be there and as our local area is non too brilliant for ‘ free from’ shopping top of our list is to try and buy delicious new products for Cameron.

It is billed as unmissable for anyone living a ‘free from’ life and takes place at Olympia 7th – 9th June. You can book your tickets online or follow them on Twitter as there have been lots of offers of free tickets in the run-up to the show. They have also been running some great giveaway competitions where you collect your prize at the show if you are one of the lucky winners – we’ve got our fingers crossed for the Galmour Puds!

Apparently it will be the UK’s largest annual gathering of people with allergies, skin & respiratory conditions, coeliac disease, food intolerances & chemical sensitivities so there should be something there for everyone whatever your allergen(s)!

What will you find at The Allergy & Free From Show 2013?
Try & Buy – shopping for 1000’s of ‘free from’ products
NEW: Spotlight – shining the light on food allergy, hay fever and IBS
NEW: Just for kids – time to have some fun with Allergy Adventures
Learning Zone – seminars from the UK’s leading experts
1-2-1 Consultations – receive advice and information from specialist
The Sainsbury’s Kitchen – inspirational ‘free from’ cooking classes
Sainsbury’s Recipe Exchange – swap recipes and tasty food ideas

Top of Cameron’s request list is cheese so we shall be looking forward to sampling the dairy free versions available and hopefully finding a few good buys to bring home – pizza for lunch on Sunday if we are successful – I shall be looking through the Exhibitor List over the next few days and planning our attack for the cheese mission!

With lots of new products being introduced at the show, free seminars from the experts, cookery demonstrations, 1-2-1 consultations and even a childrens ‘Allergy Adventures’ activity area, all in all it sounds like a fun packed day so I have my comfy shoes at the ready and we’ll be up bright & breezy for the 06:49 train to Paddington on Saturday. Check back after then to see what we found and what we thought of our big day out!
